Mechanical Engineering Student Project Center
Doan Thoi is the Equipment Technician for the College of Engineering. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Justice Studies from SJSU and a certificate of achievement in CNC Machine Operation from San Jose City College. Doan has worked for San Jose State University for 6 years, and is excited to help provide hands on experience to engineering students in his role as the Machine Shop's new director.
Purpose Statement
The MSPC provides students with equipment and tools to enable them to fabricate physical artifacts in a safe manner during their program of study in the department. Here, students have to the opportunity to put into practice invaluable skills in design and manufacturing that provide them with a foundation of knowledge and experience to prepare them for their future careers.
