As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit auxiliary corporation with a student-led Board of Directors, the Student Union, Inc. at San José State University must make appropriate organizational documents available for inspection online or for copying at the corporation's administrative office during normal business hours.

The Student Union, Inc. at San José State University encompasses the Spartan Recreation and Aquatic Center, the Diaz Compean Student Union, and the Provident Credit Union Event Center. The Student Union fosters the development, growth, and well-being of students by providing diverse programs, key services, and quality facilities that build a strong connection between students and the university community.

The Student Union, Inc. is committed to creating a culture rich in intentional experiences that build a sense of belonging, foster student success, and integrate experiential learning environments across social and academic opportunities. At the Student Union, students will find dining options, ATMs, the Provident Credit Union Event Center Box Office, and a wide range of meeting and study spaces.

Each SJSU student pays a Student Union fee each term/session to support the programs and services provided to campus. SJSU students cannot opt out of the Student Union fee.
